There never seems to be enough time in the day. It has been a roller coaster of a ride in both the private and professional lives. One of our cars got totaled. (This is what happens when you don't want to hit the stray dog.) We shared a car for a few days and got a new one. The day after that my ride decided it didn't want to start any more. Shared one car a couple more days and finally figured out what was wrong with mine.

We had an interesting wedding over the weekend. Friday night was the rehearsal dinner. This was for only 40 people and went off without a hitch. Saturday afternoon/evening was the wedding and plated dinner for 150 people or so. The options were NY Strip with mashed potatoes and vegetables and Seared Salmon with rice pilaf. Now anyone who has gone to a dinner like this knows that you pre-order weeks in advance (when you send in your RSVP) what you would like your entree to be. We had people who couldn't remember, who changed their minds, who when the entree was placed in from of them said, "No no no, I'll have the chicken." It turned into a complete 3 ring circus. The party ran late and there was an open bar. The next day when they saw their $6,000+ bar bill they flipped out and accused our staff of trying to overcharge them.
